This evening, after I finished doing some of my last garden planting I was headed inside when I noticed a little package sitting on my front porch.
At 1st I just knew it was for Suite Suzy because I had not ordered anything recently, so like the good spouse I am, I picked it up to bring inside for her.
Well as I was walking inside I looked at the mailing label & noticed that the small package was actually for me & it had my slave name on it so I was like who the hell is this from because the from was ambiguous.
So I rip open the package & see this little blue box & started to think that Suite Suzy got me a thinking of you gift & I was pretty touched at the thought.
Now I am opening the box & see this shiny pin & my little romantic hope was gone because it was not something from Suite Suzy, it was a 5 year anniversary gift from my employer; the University of Michigan Health System.
After I get over my minor let down, I was like wow, that’s awesome & felt appreciative that I got this token.
Although I have been at UMHS for 5 years, I have had 3 positions (2 promotions). This is the 1st time in my life that I have ever stayed with an employer for so long. I guess I am proud of myself.

I looked at the photos of your plants today, they are gorgeous,wish i could take some photos of my plants to share going to try.,congrats on your 5th anniversay at work.

Congrats. My organization used to do that. Now with tight times, layoffs and other things, they don’t give the pins away.
