The photography work that I’m attracting is really heating up while becoming very interesting & diverse. I mean things are taking off in ways that I did not quite imagine.

A little over a week ago, I worked my 1st official fashion shoot for Word Play Tees. This shoot was in the making for a few weeks but all the details came together quickly when owner & designer Jasmin DeForrest contacted me with the solidified details.

After I learned the location of the shoot & that the models were Universal Motown Recording Artist, Suai & Jasmin herself, I was pumped about what was to come. And of course I was nervous, being a fashion photography virgin and all.

The shoot lasted for at least 5 hours & was pretty intense, but in good ways. I really pushed myself on this one & I think the results show that.

My client was very satisfied with the end results, which of course is a confidence & portfolio booster for me.

- I’m waiting to see if Oceanic Cruise Lines actually uses one of my images for the cover of their fall magazine cover. I should know for sure next week. I need the CASH in my hand as well as the entry for my artist resume.

- I now have 27 stock photos in the Getty Images Flickr collection! And yesterday, I got another request to submit more. I cannot believe this is popping off the way that it is. I’m submitting 8 more images for this latest inquiry.

- I just invested a nice chunk of change on some Alien Bees studio lighting equipment! I’m very excited about adding this to my photography arsenal. Just think, if you hired me, you would be making a great investment in wonderful photos while helping to boost the career of your favorite shit talking blogging photographer!

- Later this week, I hope to bring you some goodies from Cancun & my 1st destination wedding.
