This fine young gentleman may look familiar to you if you have been following my NYC Analog Street Portrait series.

I spotted him last fall during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in all of his splendor and I was actually happy to see him popping his look this winter at Lincoln Center.

He was just chilling resting against a pillar holding his briefcase when I saw him this time around.

I walked up to him & showed him the photo after I reintroduced myself. When he saw the photo he smiled. He then asked me what magazine I was with because he thought it needed to be published. While I agree, my series is not balling like that now.

Without any major media credentials, I was still able to convince him to smile for me again. He knows how to bring it.

Wouldn’t it be awesome if the image(s) got published before I saw him again out in the wilds of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week? Maybe he would kiss MY panky rang.

This morning I woke up with Biggie on my mind.

Yesterday, my evening was a little intense after I found out that The NYLA Report’s team was accepted into a major show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. I guess you could say that I was at the point of excitement where you really can’t concentrate.

Then I got caught up in a bunch of text messages, emails, chats & phone calls from all over the place which kinda exacerbated where I was in terms of being able to focus.

Things only got worse when I received this email:

“CONGRATULATIONS!

We are happy to inform you that your application for Press and Industry

Accreditation for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York has been approved.

A schedule of shows will be posted on the event website once it is available. Details on picking up credentials, policy changes, updates and other information will be provided in subsequent emails.

Thanks again for your support of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.”

The text messages & phones calls just put me in a tale spin, then I took to FB & Twitter & poured a few drinks. I was truly a mess in all of the right ways.

I’ve been talking about this for a while, so you know that I am beyond being excited!!!!

A few years ago, this whole process was just a thought, a dream even; today it’s happening & it feels like a dream. Just two weeks from now, I’ll be done with my 1st day @ NYFW. WOW!!!!

Now, I ask the question; Who gone check me boo?

If I could travel back in time to the 70′s I would so order both of these sets in a size 38 husky fit! Maybe even the damn shoes too!
